He works in several local and Arab newspapers, addressing political situations in the Middle East and the world through his drawings. Additionally, he tackles political, economic, and social issues that concern Jordanian society through the cartoon character Abu Mahjoub.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts (Graphic Arts) with a minor in Journalism and Media.
He is a member of the Jordanian Journalists Association since 1994 and a member of the Cartoonists and Satirists Agency.
Experience
He won the Hussein Award for Journalistic Creativity for the Best Caricature in 2001. He also received the Dubai Press Award for Arab Journalism in 2006 for the Best Caricature published in Arab press in 2005, specifically for his artwork titled "The Weeping Arab Camel."
