Course description
The news may be very important, but it will not arouse the attention of the recipient (the listener or the viewer) if it is said badly. Therefore, this course proposes to the presenter of programs on radio and television to work on improving his vocal abilities, and provides him with theoretical information and technical means that enable him to become aware of his voice, own it, and adapt it to put it at the service of the content he wishes to deliver to the recipient. It does not claim to create exceptional sounds, but rather allows the broadcaster to be aware of his voice and its capabilities, in order to improve his performance over the air.
Course Outline
Illustrate the features of the voice and its impact on the receiver.
• Breathing from the diaphragm.
• Relaxation, focus and control of fear and agitation.
• Pitch, presence and speed of the voice.
• Tone and audio image.
Diction, text cutting and stress positions in sentences.
Practical exercises according to the needs of each trainee.
Prerequisites
Broadcasters and correspondents wishing to develop their skills in voice and diction participate in the course.
